Hotel Ascona Swing Festival

The Hotel Ascona Swing Festival, hosted in the beautiful four star Hotel Ascona, is the only festival dedicated to the swing music of the 1930’s and 1940’s. For this event Frank Roberscheuten has invited a group of excellent musicians specialized in playing this particular style of jazz.
The twelfth edition of this event presents Paolo Alderighi, Dan Barrett, Martin Breinschmid, Jerome Etcheberry, Shaunette Hildabrand, Chris Hopkins, Jos Machtel, Thimo Niesterok, Guillaume Nouaux, Frank Roberscheuten, Nicki Parrott, Olaf Polziehn, Rossano Sportiello, Stephanie Trick, Tijn Trommelen and Engelbert Wrobel for a total of nine teen diverse concerts in ten days.
Situated on the mountain overlooking the city of Ascona and the famous Lago Maggiore, Hotel Ascona is the perfect location for our Swing Festival. The balconies extending from the fully equiped rooms offer a breathtaking view. And the kitchen guarantees culinary satisfaction while enjoying music in a “unplugged” setting.
